Colefax and Fowler, the interior designers who have come to epitomise a grand, English style for over fifty years, have been responsible for some of the finest houses in the land.  And now, we can all have the chance to browse through lots from two of these houses, Hambledon Manor and Lushill (in which John Fowler particularly and successfully collaborated with the owners), plus 39 Brook Street, Colefax and Fowler’s beautiful Mayfair offices.  With over 500 lots, starting from £300 upwards (to over £40,000), there is furniture, ceramics and textiles to suit every budget and perhaps the chance for some of that Colefax and Fowler interior design magic to rub off on us mere mortals.
